Our cruises go out rain or shine. If weather is severe, it is at the Captain’s discretion whether we leave the dock or return early as a safety measure. Time at the dock is the same as cruising time.

Attire consistent with your event is appropriate. High heeled or stiletto style footwear is not recommended.
Backpacks and Bags may be checked during boarding.

Yes. A non refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. The deposit will be applied to your final bill.
You must be 21 years old to book an event, private events are for your Friends, Family, Employees and Associates. We do not allow selling of tickets for your Private event on social media or other web sites.

Public Cruises: Must be cancelled 24 hours or more before departure time for a full refund.
Private Cruises: CANCELLATION POLICY:
We cruise rain or shine. Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to the event will receive a Full refund of payments with the exception of the deposit. Cancellations made less than 30 days of the event will forfeit the deposit and owe 1/2 of the remaining balance, the deposit may be used for another event in the same season. Cancellations made less that 7 days of the event will be responsible for the entire balance due.Food Orders: All Food orders/changes must be placed no less than 10 days prior to event.

It is possible to extend time to your cruise, provided the boat is not scheduled for another cruise and crew is available. Most cases it is better to extend time before hand.

Cruises depart/arrive at the Port of Excelsior located at 2 Water St. Boarding begins 10 minutes prior to departure time. For public cruises, we generally leave on time, however we may wait up to 5 minutes for late arrivals. For private cruises, you have the boat for your specified period of time. It is up to the coordinator of your party whether they wish to wait for late comers or depart without them.

There is metered street parking at the Port of Excelsior and free public parking lots nearby.

Whether you are on a public or private cruise, gratuity for your Captain & Crew is not included in the price of your cruise, and is at your discretion at the time of service.

Service charge covers fees for deliveries, boat cleaners, crew training, sales staff, caterers, mechanics and set up crew. Gratuity for onboard crew is not included. Crew gratuity is at your discretion.

Minnesota State and County Health Laws do not allow for any outside beverages or food to be brought on board. With the exception of special occasion cakes. Note: A fee may be added if a cake is brought onboard.

Yes. We will allow 2 people to board 15 minutes prior to your departure time to put up your decorations. The remainder of your group will begin boarding 10 minutes prior to your departure time. You will be required to remove your decorations before you disembark.

Yes we have several great DJs and bands available for hire, DJs and bands must be located inside of the boat and not on the outer decks. Contact our sales office for further information regarding live music.
We do NOT allow outside DJ’s on our Vessels, If you want to have a DJ you can go through our office.

No. Due to Hennepin County Food Safety Health regulations, food cannot be taken off the boat.

State Charter Boat Regulations do not allow for stopping at locations on the lake other than approved departure and drop off locations without prior approval. Swimming is not allowed.

Our buffets are prepared in advance by our catering company. The amount of food on board is limited to the number of guests. The buffet is typically generous but not all you can eat.
All Food orders/changes must be placed no less than 10 days prior to event.

Our vessels conform with all state rules governing accessibility. The accessibility is limited. Typically there is a step up from our pier location to the boat and there are no ramps for wheel chairs. Please call our staff for more information on this.

Our bar will accept cash, credit cards and debit cards for bar charges or final payments.

Our menu has several items designated as vegetarian and vegan, we are also happy to accommodate any special diet needs as well.
